WNBA: Washington Mystics Record Third Straight Wins Of The Season

Washington Mystics made it three wins out of the first three games of the 2022 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) season in the early hours of Wednesday.

The Mystics recorded an 89-76 win over Las Vegas Aces at the Entertainment and Sports Arena, Washington.

The host won two of four quarters, drawing the second quarter, and lost the opening quarter 13-26, 23-23, 24-7, 29-20 with 3,082 spectators in attendance.

Elena Delle Donne of Washington Mystics emerged as the top performer of the night with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.

Las Vegas Aces’ Jackie Young also had 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.


The win ensured that Washington Mystics has won all its first three games of the season after initial victories against Indiana Fever (84-70) and Minnesota Lynx (66-78).

Washington Mystics occupy the first position in the Eastern Conference while Las Vegas Aces are in the second position in the Western Conference after its first defeat of the 2022 WNBA season.

Las Vegas Aces won its first two games against Phoenix Mercury (88-106) and Seattle Storm (85-74).


Indiana Fever defeated Minnesota Lynx 82-76 at the Baker’s Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis.

Indiana Fever won one of the four quarters 12-21, 36-18, 17-19, 17-18 which was enough for the team to earn its first win of the season.

Kelsey Michelle led Indiana Fever to its first win of the campaign with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.

Sylvia Fowles of Minnesota Lynx was the top performer of the game with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists.
