When do games get underway again?

The National Women Soccer League is already back in action, with USWNT star Sophia Smith already back amongst the goals in a top of the table clash on Sunday, and fans in Europe don’t have long to wait now either.

Women’s Champions League qualifiers including the likes of Arsenal, Juventus, Frankfurt, Celtic and Ajax will take place 6-9 September. The draw for the play-off round will take place on 15 September, with Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG and Roma all learning their routes

Spain’s Liga F will also get underway before then (8 September) as the first of the major European leagues to kick off.

The Women Soccer League transfer window closes on 14 September, with the Frauen Bundesliga (Germany) and Division 1 Féminine (France) kicking off the following day and Serie A Femminile beginning the same weekend.

On 1 October the new Women Soccer League season finally kicks off, and the Women’s Champions League group stage draw will take place on 20 October before that kicks off on 14 November.
