Victor Osimhen’s Brace Sends Napoli 21 Points Clear

Napoli travelled to Turin on Sunday to face Torino in the week 27 game of the ongoing Serie A season.
Napoli have been the pacesetters of this season’s Serie A campaign brushing aside almost every team that have come their way.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is the leader of that title charge with 21 league goals already this term.
The 24 year old scored a brace against Torino to extend his lead at the top of the Capocannonieri race as well as his club’s advantage at the top of the table.
A goal in both halves both scored with his head means the striker has now scored 15 goals since the turn of the year.
Napoli are now 21 points clear of Inter on the log thanks to the 4-0 victory with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scoring from the spot and Tanguy Ndombele adding a fourth.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has become the first player since Diego for Werder Bremen in 2006/2007 to reach double figures for goals and assists in his debut season in the top five European leagues.

Osimhen with his two headed goals also becomes the first player since Alberto Gilardino in 2009/2010 to score two headed braces in a single season.
Victor Osimhen has also joined Gonzalo Higuain, Dries Mertens and Edinson Cavani as the only players to have reached twenty goals in a single campaign under the ownership of Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Kvaratskhelia is the first player in the league this term to reach double figures of goals and assists with twelve goals and ten assists.
