UWCL: Barcelona And Bayern Munich Earn Slim First Leg Win

FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich recorded a 1-0 win over Arsenal FC and AS Roma respectively in the quarter-final first leg of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL).

The Italian side, AS Roma put up a solid defensive display that prevented Barcelona from scoring goals in the early minute of the game.
The Catalan side dominated possession and had plenty of goal attempts.
Barcelona won’t be denied in the 34th minute when it opened the scoring.
Patricia Guijaerro located Selma Paralluelo whose left-footed strike from outside the box beat Roma’s goalkeeper.
Jonatan Giraldez’s side return home with a goal advantage ahead of the return leg at Camp Nou on March 29.

Bayern Munich also pipped Arsenal FC 1-0 in a keenly contested encounter in Germany.
