UEFA Releases UWCL Round 2 Seedings

The 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) First Round of the Qualifiers ended on Saturday with Paris FC and Eintracht Frankfurt responsible for the elimination of Arsenal and Juventus respectively.

The final phase of the Qualifiers is set to take place in the coming days after the draws.
Teams that scaled the hurdle of the First Round will go into the draws for the Second Round in League and Champions Path.
14 teams will go into the League Path draw with Slavia Prague, FC Rosengard, St. Polten, Glasgow City, SL Benfica, FC Zurich, and AS Roma seeded for the draw.
Ajax, Spartak Subtika, Vorskla, Apollon, Valur, Olimpia Cluj, and SK Brann were unseeded for the draw slated to take place on September 15, 2023.
Seven teams from this path will make it to the group stage.
Meanwhile…
For the league path, ten teams will jostle for five spots in the group stage making it 12 teams.

Wolfsburg, PSG, Real Madrid, Sparta Prague, and BK Hacken have been seeded for the league path.
Manchester United, Eintracht Frankfurt, Paris FC, FC Twente, and Vålerenga are the unseeded teams in the league path.
The 11 teams that emerged from the Qualifiers will join, holders, FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC, Lyon, and Bayern Munich in the group stage.
