Two Italian Sides Could Slug It Out For Valencia Defender

At this stage, the transfer window is known to throw up a few surprises and we could see one happening in the Spanish League before the transfer window closes.
More Details
Spanish La Liga side, Valencia have found themselves in a precarious position this season.
After winning their first game of the season, they went on to lose the next two and that is right on top of the club’s need to bring in revenue as they’re in breach if La Liga rules.

The club were reported to have put two of their most valuable players up for sale, Carlos Soler and Jose Gaya. For Soler, there are reports that he’s close to signing for French side, PSG, while no movement on the part of Gaya.
The left-back hasn’t played any game for the Los Che this season as he’s still serving suspension from last season, but he’s now being linked with a move away from the Mestalla stadium as well after talks of a move to Barcelona died down.
Italian side, Juventus are said to be in need of a left sided defender and could move for Gaya. The Bianconeri have allowed Luca Pellegrini to leave on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, having bought Filip Kostic from the German side.
But Kostic is more of a winger than a defender, hence coach of the team, Masssimiliano Allegri has asked the club for another defender to play in that position.
While Valencia may be looking to sell the player, he’s more inclined towards staying, but with a contract set to expire in 2023, a move seems more likely. Another Italian side, Inter Milan could also become interested.
Especially if they manage to go through with the talks of selling their German defender, Robin Gosens. It should be recalled that Gaya had to come out five years ago and deny reports of an imminent move to the Nerazzurri.
But it’s unclear how he would react this time should they come forward for him.
Meanwhile…
Spanish La Liga side, Real Sociedad are close to signing Nigerian striker, Sadiq Umar from Almeria for a fee believed to be in the region of €20 million.

After selling Swedish striker, Alexander Isak to Newcastle, the club have been on the lookout for a replacement and they seem to have settled on the choice of Umar, who has been constantly linked with a move away from Almeria since the opening of the transfer window.
Villarreal and Sevilla have also been linked with the player, but it seems like the basque club would be the real deal.
