Transfers: Manchester United In Talks To Sign Atletico Madrid Star, Mega Contract Offer Lined Up

Written by Albert Echatah
In an attempt to bolster his forward line, Erik ten Hag is in negotiations to sign World Cup champion Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United.
More Details
In their 12 Premier League games this season, the Red Devils have only managed 13 goals, leaving them with a -3 goal differential.
There has only been one Premier League goal scored by United’s attacking group this season—Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho.
Hojlund has scored five goals in the Champions League in his short tenure at the team. However, Ten Hag wants to relieve the Danish player of some of the burden that has been plaguing him in the Premier League.
According to the Nacional, United and Griezmann’s representatives have discussed a transfer to Old Trafford.
Griezmann has spent his whole career in Spain, although he is reportedly open to go elsewhere. Griezmann’s pay would apparently be tripled by United, reaching about £240,000 per week.

Meanwhile…
Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.
Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.
This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
