Daniel Levy is understood to have been left very impressed with Postecoglou’s work at Celtic and now wants him at Tottenham. While they were looking to land a young, up-and-coming manager with Feyenoord’s Arne Slot most fitting, alongside Julian Nagelsmann.
But the Feyenoord coach has come out to announce that he woukd be staying with the newly crowned Dutch League champions week, Spurs are turning to Postecoglou, even if he doesn’t quite fit at 57 years of age, but they’re hoping that he can bring his superb brand of football to North London club.
The report also highlights that Scott Munn is a real admirer of Postecoglou as Tottenham prepare their move. Munn is arriving as Tottenham’s new chief football officer this summer and will effectively work as Levy’s right-hand man, taking over from the suspended Fabio Paratici.
The connections between Munn and Postecoglou are clear. Firstly, both are Australians. Postecoglou is certainly the most high-profile Australian manager around right now and coached their national team from 2013 to 2017.

The 25-years old has long-since been linked with a move to Camp Nou as one of their top targets. Also, Tottenham since the days of Pochettino and even Antonio Conte have been linked with the defender.
However the Yellow Submarine consider him an unsellable player, according to report from Spain. His release clause increased from €42m to €54.2m last summer and the only way of signing him is to pay that clause and hope the player doesn’t reject the move either.
