More Details

After the current season ends, Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid expires, and the 64-year-old has already received approaches to take over as Brazil’s next permanent manager.

But according to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, Ancelotti has also drawn interest from United, and at the end of the season, the Italian might take Erik ten Hag’s place.

Ancelotti, who has previously managed Chelsea and Everton in the Premier League, has expressed his desire to stay on at Real Madrid for an extended period of time.

Ten Hag faced criticism following United’s patchy start to the season, but they have now won five of their past six Premier League games and trail Arsenal by six points.

Ancelotti responded, “I don’t think anything about it,” when questioned over the weekend over his ties to the Brazil job.

‘I’m proud that one of the best international teams in the world like Brazil is linked to me, that gives me a lot of pride.’

Meanwhile…

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
