During the January transfer window of the previous season, Kiowor, 22, joined the Gunners from Serie A team Spezia, giving Mikel Arteta an alternative at center-half and left-back.

But this season, across all competitions, he has only started eight games. Several Serie A teams, including AC Milan, expressed interest in bringing him back to Italy during the January transfer window; however, Arsenal chose to remain in north London rather than risk having a shortfall in players for the second half of the season.

According to The Evening Standard, Milan is one of the teams linked with a move for the Polish defender in the summer, with the expectation that Arsenal will have reversed course.

In the meanwhile, the Gunners will concentrate on adding Ajax wonderkid Hato to strengthen their defence. This season, the 17-year-old has started every game for the Ajax starting lineup, mostly at center-half but also stepping in at left-back.

With only 18 months remaining on his current deal, he has also led the Dutch giants this season as captain. Last summer, Arsenal completed a deal with Ajax and signed Jurrien Timber, who had a serious knee injury while making his Premier League debut.

Jadon Sancho has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the 2023–24 campaign.

Two and a half years have passed since the England international permanently switched to the Red Devils, who paid £73 million for his services in the summer of 2021.

“Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho has rejoined former club Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season,” the Red Devils said in a statement. “The England international of 23 caps leaves with our best wishes for the remainder of this season.”
