Spanish Women’s Team Negotiation: Majority Of Players Agree To Remain In Camp

The meeting between the players of the Spanish senior women’s national team and the President of CSD (Higher Sports Court) last night concluded at 4:43 a.m. in Oliva, Spain.

At the end of the meeting, 21 out of 23 players had chosen to remain at the national team camp.
Two players have expressed the need to leave the camp due to mental load and mental health concerns. They will not face sanctions.
Mapi Leon and Patri Guijarro are the two players that left the camp according to sources in Spain.
The President of the CSD has confirmed that the changes requested by the players will be swiftly implemented.
A mixed commission will be established to ensure the implementation of structural changes. The draft and other related documents will be documented later today.

“We will convey to the players that we will do everything necessary to resolve the issue, but we kindly request them to attend the games. We want them to become Olympic champions.” The Spanish government stated.
