The Nerazzurri are looking for a different kind of midfielder and could raid Lazio or Barcelona.
More Details
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla writes about Simone Inzaghi’s interest in having a physically present midfielder for next season.
Two names have emerged in that regard with one being his former player at Lazio in Sergej Milinkovic Savic while Barcelona’s Franck Kessie is also a target.
Pedulla reports that a price tag of €35m has been placed on the Serbian who has just a year left on his contract at the Olympic Stadium.
Ivorian midfielder Kessie is also Serie A proven as he only joined Barcelona from Milan as a free agent last summer.
He is however not an integral part or Xavi Hernandez’ plans and could be allowed to leave the club.
Inter have a Champions League final to negotiate against Manchester City on Saturday after which attention will shift to transfers.
Juventus are said to have reached an agreement with the Lazio midfielder’s agent since November but that new priorities have now set in for the Bianconeri.
Meanwhile…
SkySport’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus, Roma and Inter are all tracking Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.
The Italian midfielder is set to depart the Mapei Stadium outfit this summer with interest also coming from England.
