AS Roma’s Patrik Schick could be set for a move to Bundesliga club side, Bayer Leverkusen according to reports from Teleradiostereo.
The Roma forward spent last season on loan in Germany with last season’s Champions League semi finalists, RB Leipzig having failed to impress at the Italian capital since he was signed from Sampdoria in the summer of 2017.
Schick’s time at Leipzig was largely impressive and the Red Bull owned club would have kept the 24-year old Czech Republic international if they had the funds to make the move permanent.
Teleradiostereo now reports that a deal is almost done between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen for a fee believed to be worth around 29 million Euros in total. Other sources have reported that the deal could be done for 22 million plus add-ons. He is expected to replace the departing Kai Havertz who is believed to be closing in on a move to Premier League side, Chelsea.
Schick played a key role as Leipzig finished in third position in the Bundesliga last season, scoring ten goals and providing two assists in twenty two games played for the club.
