Holders, Chelsea FC women retained the English Women’s Super League (WSL) on Saturday with a 3-0 win against relegated Reading.

Two goals from Sam Kerr ensured the Blues clinch its fourth straight league title to seal its dominance in the WSL in recent times.
She scored the first goal of the game in the 18th minute from Guro Reiten’s assist while Reiten doubled the lead for Emma Hayes’ side three minutes to halftime.
Kerr sealed the win for the London side in the 88th minute to cap up a rewarding season for the team.
The club has won the FA Cup and the WSL title in a bad season for its men’s counterpart.
The team sealed the WSL title with two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City which has 56 points.
Arsenal finished the season in third place with 47 points to take the final UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) spot.
Meanwhile…
Manchester City this time missed out on the UWCL in fourth place, ten points behind Arsenal FC Women.

Aston Villa, Everton, Liverpool, Wesham, and Tottenham finished the season in the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth positions respectively.
Leicester City and Brighton escaped relegation with 16 points each ahead of Reading.
Reading’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea condemned the team to the second-tier English Women’s Championship for next season.
