Mohamed Maran is the third Al Nassr player involved in the national team controversies.

The 22 year old was slapped with a month ban from football related activities in Saudi Arabia along with a 200,000 riyals fine.

“The player, Mohamed Maran, was suspended for a month and fined 200,000 riyals, for asking to leave the national team’s camp, after the final list of the national team was announced, despite the fact that the opportunity still exists for him to join and his refusal to remain in the camp.” Wrote @Ali_alabdallh.

Maran has only featured sparingly for the Nasrawi this term but could spend an extended period away from the team due to the ban.
