Puig, a product of Barcelona’s La Masia development program, debuted for the first squad in 2018. But despite his struggles for playing time under each manager he has worked for thus far in his career, he has been unable to carve out a spot for himself in the team.
Fans had hoped that the Spanish midfielder’s fortunes would turn around after Xavi joined Camp Nou last year, but that has not happened as Puig has continued to struggle to get playing time under the legendary Barcelona player. Puig’s predicament has only gotten worse as the Catalans also added Franck Kessie and Pablo Torre this summer.
In the middle of all, LA Galaxy have come to light as a possible Puig suitor. According to the report, the MLS team has already enquired about the 22-year-old Spanish midfielder’s availability and is getting ready to make an offer for him.
The report goes on to say that the LA Galaxy, a squad that features players like Javier Hernandez, Douglas Costa, and Kevin Cabral among others, are willing to give him a three-year contract that would last until the summer of 2025 and make him one of their franchise players.

Spanish giants Barçelona have confirmed that they have reached full agreement with Celta Vigo for the permanent transfer of Spanish defender Óscar Mingueza.
Celta Vigo and Mingueza have apparently reached an agreement on a four-year contract that is expected to cost roughly €3 million.
Despite the fact that the details of this condition have not been made public or reported, Barça will receive a portion of any future sales.
