Report – PSG Risk Losing Kylian Mbappe On Free Transfer With Ten Haag Not Ruling Out Potential Move For Neymar Jnr

Paris Saint Germain are quiet in a dilemma after reports emerged that talisman, Kylian Mbappe is not convinced with the club’s project and has no intention to trigger the one year extension clause in his contract as the French giants risk losing one of their most prized asset on a free transfer.
Ligue top side are at risk of losing one of their most influential player in Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer with the player not willing to stay beyond his current deal with the club after a tumultuous season but they do have the option to cash in on the player who isn’t short of European big club suitors before his deal expires.
The PSG forward had reportedly signed a three-year contract before the 2022-23 campaign, but according to L’Equipe it was a two-year deal with the option of an extra season.
Just last summer of 2021, Real Madrid submitted a huge bid of £154million for the Ligue 1 star in an attempt to pry him away from Paris, which was rejected but the Spanish giants are determined to land their prime target.
Perez’s Los Blancos may be able to land the French superstar for free next summer as the 24-year-old looks to run down his current deal at the Parc des Princes and not willing to continue further.
According to L’Equipe, PSG had been confident that Mbappe will stay through to 2025 but that same belief is not shared by the player himself.
The former Monaco forward has until July 31st to trigger the clause in his PSG deal. If not, he could see out the remainder of his contract and leave for free in 2024.
Manchester United manager, Ten Haag has refused to dismiss speculation linking Manchester United with a sensational move for Neymar with the Brazil star understood to have been made available by Paris Saint-Germain this summer with United one of a number clubs contacted over a possible transfer.
Neymar cost PSG a world record £200million when he moved to the French club from Barcelona in 2017, but he is one of a number of big names along with Lionel Messi who could be moved on as PSG’s Qatari owners look to rebuild.

It remains to be seen how feasible the move would be as Ten Hag weighs up a number of targets after spending £220million in his first transfer window although the Dutchman was coy when asked about the rumours circulating in France ahead of United’s penultimate Premier League game against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Thursday night saying that they will inform everyone when there’s news.
