The Blues surprisingly let the 24-year-old leave last year. Since joining the Rossoneri, he has gone on to become an important player for them, very instrumental in their Serie A title win last season.

The English international has turned out 77 times for the Rossoneri, chipping in with three goals. And his performances have captured the attention of Real Madrid.

While the Los Blancos are presently well stocked in the defense at the moment, but their habit of always signing a defender every summer, amid the recent report that the club is having problem agreeing on a new contract with their defender, Nacho Fernandez over a new deal could see them look into the transfer market next summer.

Tomori is not the only defensive target in Italy for the current LaLiga champions, as they’re also eyeing Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar, whose contract will expire next year and is seen as more easier to get than Tomori due to length of contract, (Tomori has a contract until 2027) but the Los Blancos will nonetheless try for the English stopper because of his age.

Even though he has expressed his willingness to stay with Milan for a long term, the appeal of joining the all white team from the Spanish capital could prove to be the ultimate appeal that will help change his mind, not forgetting the drastic rise he will also get in terms of salary and the fact that playing for Madrid will help him get a regular spot with the national team.

English Premier League side, Arsenal are said to be taking decisive steps towards the signing of Dutch striker, Cody Gakpo, who plays for PSV, but they will have to contend with Real Madrid for his signature.

The 23-years old has become a hot property in the market on the back of a memorable last twelve months and enjoyed a brilliant 2021/22 campaign with PSV Eindhoven. But he has become even better this season, becoming one of the most prolific players in Europe.

The Dutch attacker has an excellent tally of 13 goals and 11 assists in 19 appearances across all competitions. He’s expected to be among the players that will represent the Dutch national team at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

PSV will most likely demand for about €50 million for him, a figure which could rise depending on his performance during the World Cup. Real Madrid want him as a replacement for the ageing Karim Benzema.
