RC Strasbourg Striker Habib Diallo Wanted By EPL Duo As Details Emerge Of Lionel Messi’s MLS Mega Deal

Written by Olaleye Oluwadamilola
Ligue 1 side, RC Strasbourg could lose one of their most prized assets in Senegalese striker, Habib Diallo as English Premier League clubs circle around for his signature with newly promoted Burnley and Westham United looking to tempt him away from the French club.
More Details
As reported by The Sun, West Ham and Burnley are interested in Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo with Burnley manager Vincent Kompany secretly going out to watch Diallo, who finished the season with 16 goals in Ligue 1.
On the other end, West Ham boss David Moyes is also interested in a move for the 27-year-old, who scored four more league goals than Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi this campaign as he looks to add more firepower to his frontline.
The Senegal international has two years remaining on his current contract at Strasbourg and has been at the club since October 2020 when he joined from Metz.
Burnley have been considering a move for Coventry’s Viktor Gyokeres, but Diallo is seen as an alternative option as West Hamseek for more depth in attack after been only to record 42 goals in the Premier League for the 2022/2023 season.
Meanwhile…
Lionel Messi’s lucrative Inter Miami offer ‘includes deals with brands like Apple and Adidas’ and MLS and Saudi Arabia are his only concrete options with Barcelona return now impossible after being released by French side Paris Saint-Germain.
It’s a long way of saying Leo Messi cannot be offered guarantees that he will be included in the FFP limit. Because for him to actually be paid by Barcelona within the limits, Barcelona would have to sell players. That’s the only thing we know and Laliga president had stated some months ago that it would take an extra effort for the Catalan club to sign him back, ruling it out as seemingly impossible.
It’s one of at least two offers the 36-year-old has received as football reporter Guillem Balague discussed in a video posted to Twitter. “He’s got a very interesting proposal from Inter Miami, which includes other brands like Adidas and Apple all put together to make his brand a bit bigger.”
Al-Hilal have also offered Messi £345million per season to follow Cristiano Ronaldo to the Saudi Pro League.

Aftermath of the official announcement of Messi’s departure from PSG, Paris Saint-Germain‘s Instagram following has dropped by 800,000 after Lionel Messi‘s final game for the club on Saturday at home to Clermont Foot 63.
Despite an impressive season in Paris that has seen him score 21 goals across all competitions, Messi’s final game at the Parc des Princes ended in a shock defeat to mid-table Clermont.
Supporters booed their star forward after the game, which ended two years that have failed to see them won over by a man who could not bring a Champions League title.
It dropped from 69.9 million to 69.1m, indicative of the influence such a player has on global fandom.
