PSG Consider Move For Pogba

Paris Saint Germain are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United’s France international midfielder, Paul Pogba.

Pogba is currently on vacation after crashing out early from the European Championship but speculations about a potential move away from the Red Devils refuse to go away.

The 28-year-old currently has a year left on his contract with Man United but the club would like to keep him and are ready to begin talks for an extension.

Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, had publicly declared that his client would be leaving the 20-time Premier League winners, claiming that he was unhappy at the club but recent reports suggest that the player could make a U-Turn and stay with the club.

ESPN’s Julien Laurens reports however that PSG could make an offer for the midfielder. The French club has been active in the transfer market so far with completed deals for Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi and Sergio Ramos while the transfer of Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly only missing an official announcement.

Pogba could cost around €80 million Euros and Manchester United could be tempted to cash in on the French man should he refuse to hold talks for a contract renewal.

Italian giants, Juventus, were also linked with a move for Pogba but financial constraints caused by the pandemic have moved the club to turn it’s attention elsewhere.
