Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan) recorded a 2-4 win against Juventus to emerge as Champions of the 2021/2022 Copa Italia at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome on Wednesday.
Croatia’s Ivan Perisic scored two goals in extra time to hand Inter Milan its first Copa Italia title since 2011.
Nicolo Barella in the seventh minute lashed the ball with incredible pace and power inside the right post for Inter’s first goal of the game.

As both sides were not separated after 90 minutes, the game entered into extra time for another 30 minutes.
After consulting the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), referee Paolo Valeri awarded a penalty to Inter Milan as Ivan Perisic in the 99th minute directed the resulting penalty into the top left corner and past Mattia Perin.
Federico Dimarco in the 102nd minute passed to Ivan Perisic who unleashed a terrific shot from the edge of the box. His effort goes into the top right corner.
Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri was sent off thereafter to pile further misery on Juventus night, and the season as a whole.
Juventus will face Lazio and Fiorentina in its final two games of the 2021/2022 Italian Serie A season.

The team can no longer win the Scuddeto as it currently occupy the fourth position which is the final Champions League spot with 69 points, seven points ahead of fifth-placed Lazio.
Inter Milan still has a shot at the league title with two games against Cagliari and Sampdoria.
