More Details

Zuidberg, a lifelong supporter of the club is one of many extremely talented young stars who has made waves in the Vrouwen Eredivisie this season for the Blauwvingers.

The 16-year-old attacker has already made twelve appearances in the Zwolle main squad this season – all as a starting player – and scored five times.

Zoë Zuidberg said on the club website: “I am very proud that I can now officially call myself a player of PEC Zwolle Women. Of course I have already experienced many great moments this season, such as my debut and first goal.

“The fact that I was also able to sign a three-year contract is fantastic. I go to school at the CSE, I live around the corner in Berkum and if you can combine that with playing football at the club that you have been a supporter of since childhood, that is of course very cool.”

Manager PEC Zwolle Women Mariska Kogelman explains why Zuidberg has been signed: “Zoë is a player with a lot of potential who literally grew up and lives close to the stadium. She took her first steps as a football player at VV Berkum and from our youth teams she made the step to PEC Zwolle Women.

“Here she has already shown this season that she can pose a lot of threat with her speed. The enormous progress she has made so far is promising. I am pleased that Zoë will continue to be featured here in the coming years.”
