News: Liverpool star makes another plea for Kylian Mbappe to join him at Anfield

Fabinho and Mbappe playing for AS Monaco

Liverpool star Fabinho has made yet another plea for Kylian Mbappe to join him at Anfield.
The Brazilian revealed that he would try to convince Mbappe to join when he moved to Liverpool in 2018 and he has maintained that energy.
Fabinho was asked about the player he thought would win the Ballon d’Or first between Mbappe and Neymar and he was quick to say his former AS Monaco teammate would win the award first, he then added that he would love to play with the 21 years old again at Anfield.
He told French TV show Telefoot: “Mbappe will have a Ballon d’Or before Neymar.
“I would like to welcome him to Liverpool.
“Sadio Mane deserved the [2019] Ballon d’Or. He’s the best player in Liverpool.”
Liverpool has consistently been linked with a move for Mbappe but Jurgen Klopp has killed that story by claiming that Liverpool couldn’t afford a player of his calibre.
He said: “Buying this calibre of player is difficult. I don’t see any club at the moment who can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG.
“I don’t see any club, that is how it is. And we are involved in the clubs that cannot do it. It is as easy as that.
“Okay, from a sporting point of view, there are not a lot of reasons to not sign him. What a player he is.
“But it is about the money of course. No chance. Absolutely no chance. Sorry for killing that story.”
