Napoli are about to lose title winning coach Luciano Spalletti due to a disagreement with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis over contract issues.
The 64 year old tactician has all but decided to leave the Partenopei at the end of the campaign.
In his place, Napoli have identified former AS Roma coach Luis Enrique who is without a job.
The 53 year old who was last engaged with the Spanish national team where he coached for four years is a strong candidate to replace Spalletti.
Enrique is not new to the Italian territory after having been in charge of Roma between 2011 and 2012.
Gazzetta believe the Azzurri are only waiting for Spalletti’s departure to be official before presenting their offer to the Spanish manager.
