Kean Burt’s onto the scene with Juventus as a 16 year old in 2016 with a loan move to Hellas Verona the following year serving as an important step in his development.

His fruitless sojourn to England with Everton threatened to dampen his progress but a loan move to PSG did well to revive him.

His eventual return to Turin had given him the needed boost and he is now determined to pursue his long term dream of becoming one of the best in the trade.

Citing Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane as a point of reference, he is determined to work hard just like the Portuguese in order to get to the top.

“I’ve travelled around a lot, now I work hard to find stability and continuity. I have a personal staff of four who follow me: a nutritionist, an athletic trainer and specialists who help me improve, I no longer neglect anything. I work with them even when I don’t have training, I work a lot on pace and to avoid wasting energy and some mistakes from the past. Sign for Juve and for me”. He told Corriere dello Sport in an interview as revealed by Calciomercato.

“Paratici told me that in a short time I would become one of the best strikers in the world. It’s a very positive thing that he said that…There’s still time, I’m not one who looks too far ahead. People like Salah and Mané took a few years to explode.

“Mané is 31 years old, Salah became Salah at 25. I’ve been lucky enough to play with great champions here in Turin, Paris, Liverpool and champions help you grow. Cristiano Ronaldo worked to become number one, his talent was not enough.”

“Allegri has always treated me like a man, ever since he followed me in the Primavera. It was tough, tough in a good way… Many things have changed since then, I’ve identified the path to follow, I’m working hard.”

Kean has scored five goals in twenty three league appearances this term, already equalling his total from last season having played nine games less.

Meanwhile…

Former Inter Milan captain Andrea Ranocchia has spoken on the current Scudetto winning coach Stefano Pioli and soon to be champion, Luciano Spalletti.

The retired defender worked with both coaches at the Guiseppe Meazza while playing for the Nerazzurri and has spoken on the differences between the two managers.

Speaking on memories during an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport: “Due to a question of chronology and the duration of the professional relationship, I was able to bond less with the current Milan coach. Also because he arrived at Inter when I was already headed for the market. So much so that after a while I went on loan to Hull City in the Premier League. But I complimented him on the Scudetto and he wrote to me after I retired. Of course, we talk to Spalletti more often.”

On who asks for more in training: “They both gave it their all. As soon as we arrived, Pioli almost threatened us, he said he didn’t know how we were preparing before, but that he would have physically “massacred” us. He was of his word. Both are almost obsessive in preparing for the match and studying the opponent. Perhaps Stefano is more methodical in the way he sets up his daily work, while with Luciano the menu varied a little more.”

On the coaches’ relations in the dressing room: “They have more similar characters than it might seem. They are very direct and genuine. As a good Tuscan, Luciano is more of a host, inclined to joke. Charming the players as seen in the press conference.”

The 35 year old recently retired from football following an injury suffered while playing for Monza at the start of the season.
