The team announced the signing of France international Melvine Malard on loan.
The 23-year-old forward joined United from French Division 1 Feminine side Lyon, where she has won the UEFA Women’s Champions League four times, in addition to two French top-flight titles.
Malard made her full international debut on 18 September 2020, as France defeated Serbia 2-0.
Earlier that year, Malard was named one of the 10 most promising young players in Europe by UEFA.
She joined the likes of Irene Guerrero, Gabby George, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce as players arriving at Marc Skinner’s side on the last day of the league transfer window.
Head coach Marc Skinner said: “Melvine’s honours speak for themselves, and we are delighted to welcome a proven winner at domestic and European level to our Manchester United family.
“Melvine will no doubt excite our fans and bring a fluid attacking quality to our team.”
Manchester United also confirmed that Alyssa Aherne will spend the 2023/2024 campaign on loan at fellow Women’s Super League side Everton.
