Man United ready to make offer for Jadon Sancho
Borussia Dortmund star, Jadon Sancho could be heading to the Premier League this season with Manchester United and Chelsea interested in his services.
Reliable German outlet, BILD reports this morning that the 20-year old England international is currently the topic of discussion between the Manchester club and the ‘black and yellows’. The Manchester City academy product is said to command a fee in the region of €120m, a figure that Manchester United might find difficult to pay at once due to the effects of the pandemic.
The’red devils’ however would not mind paying the €120m if it will be allowed in installments, something that Dortmund are not particularly against. It is believed that United would like to pay Dortmund a fee of €70m upfront, an additional €20m in installments till 2021, and €30m in performance-related add-ons.
Regardless of how Manchester United decide to structure the deal, BILD believes that the German club have set a deadline of August 10 go Manchester United to make their offer. Submitting any offer after the set date could complicate negotiations as Dortmund would also need adequate time to find a replacement for the England winger.
Jason Sancho has been in fantastic form for Dortmund since he became a regular in the team. His return of twelve goals and fourteen assists in the Bundesliga league last season combined with seventeen goals and sixteen assists this season has made him a key player for the German club. A return to England however has always seemed important for him as he plans to become a key player for the England national team when EURO 2020 begins.
