Levante Chief Executive Officer (CEO) José Danvila has disclosed that the budget for the women’s team has to be reduced.

In recent seasons, the women’s team has performed better than their men’s counterparts raising eyebrows on why the funds will be reduced.

“The women’s budget has to be reduced. We have had wonderful times but it has to be reduced. We will maintain it to the extent we can with the structure we can.”

Levante UD women’s team is currently third in Liga F right now with 24 points from ten games, six points behind leaders, FC Barcelona.
