Leicester Completes Daka Capture

Leicester city have officially completed the signing of 22 year old Belgian forward, Patson Daka who was Austria Bundesliga’s top goal scorer last season.

The 2017 CAF young player of the year scored 27 goals in 28 league appearances for Salzburg and is coming to England for an entirely new challenge.

“I have followed Leicester from the time they won the league,” Daka told the club’s website.

“I feel it is the perfect place for me because it’s a team that fights for titles. I know it’s not going to be easy, but I feel ready to face this new challenge.”

Daka will have big shoes to fill if he’s to win over the foxes faithful with Jamie Vardy past his prime and Brendan Rodgers needing a new striker.
