Barclays English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) Champions, Chelsea FC Women moved to the top of the league table after a high scoring 0-8 bashing of Leicester City FC Women.

Fran Kirby set up Guro Reiten for the Blues opening goal of the match in the fourth minute at the King Power Stadium, Leicester.
Jessie Fleming doubled the visitors’ lead off Guro Reiten’s assist in the 13th minute.
Guro Reiten provided her second assist of the game for Fran Kirby to score Chelsea’s third goal in the 39th minute.
Two minutes later, it was the turn of Niamh Charles to increase Emma Hayes’s side’s lead from Guro Reiten’s third assist of the night.

Guro Reiten once again provided the assist that led to Samantha Kerr converting Chelsea’s fifth goal in the 45th minute.
It took five minutes into the second half for the Blues to increase its lead to six as Jessie Fleming made it 0-6.
Two more goals from Bethany England and Fran Kirby completed the rout for Chelsea.
Chelsea moved to the top of the WSL log with 24 points ahead of Manchester United but with a game more than the chasing pack.

Manchester United also thrashed Aston Villa 5-0 on Saturday at Old Trafford.

Goals from Katie Zelem, Leah Galton, Alessia Russo, Ona Batle, and Rachel Williams lifted the Reds to a 5-0 triumph over the Villans.
Elsewhere, third-placed Arsenal FC Women keeps pace with the top two teams with Vivianne Miedema’s strike propelling the team to a 1-0 win against Everton.
The Gunners occupy the third position with 21 points, the same points as Manchester United.
