Kosovo Impress Against Leichtenstein As Norway Edge Portugal

Kosovo secured its second win over Leichtenstein in another friendly match between both sides with a 2-0 win.

Both sides met recently with Kosovo picking a 4-0 win and stamped its dominance with another win on Sunday.
The second game was a tight and cagey affair ending a goalless draw after the first period.
It took Donjeta Halilaj’s opener in the 75th minute to break the deadlock before Rrezona Ramadani doubled the lead five minutes later to seal the win for Kosovo.
The win extended Kosovo’s winning streak to seven games since its 3-1 loss to Slovenia in another friendly match on November 12 last year.
The loss extended Leichtenstein’s bad patch of form to five straight losses since its 3-2 win against Gibraltar on November 29, 2022, during another friendly match.

In other friendly games, 1995 World champions, Norway pipped Portugal 2-1 in preparation for this week’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Portugal will face holders, United States Women’s National Team (USWNT), the Netherlands, and debutant, Vietnam in Group E at the tournament.
Norway will attempt to win its second world title when its opens its campaign against co-host, New Zealand before facing The Philippines and Switzerland in Group A.
Only four team has won the FIFA Women’s World Cup since 1991; USWNT, Norway, Germany, and Japan.
