It’s looking like French club, PSG will beat EPL side, Tottenham Hotspur to appoint former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann as their new coach with an announcement expected soon.
More Details
The Parisians were previously said to be looking at AS Roma coach, Jose Mourinho but the former Inter Milan and Chelsea coach would prefer to continue with the Giallorosi, hence PSG have quickly moved for Nagelsmann.
According to report, Nagelsmann, who is expected to replace Christopher Galtier has one request, he wants to have Thierry Henry work with him at PSG, a request that the French club would most likely grant. Even though the pair have never worked together before, Nagelsmann wants to have the Arsenal legendary striker in his coaching crew.

It is believed that Henry’s presence would be welcomed by PSG star Kylian Mbappe, as the pair share a good relationship, and would also give Nagelsmann’s coaching team a French flavour.
Although there is no previous link between the pair, but Nagelsmann is thought to believe that Henry would be a positive addition to his staff and would be valuable to him making a fast start to life in France. Henry most recently was in the Belgium coaching staff at the World Cup in Qatar and has been linked with the United States national team head coach job.
The former striker was head coach of PSG’s Ligue 1 rivals Monaco and he also spent just over a year in charge of MLS club Montreal Impact before standing down because of the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions.
He was also an assistant to Roberto Martinez at the World Cup with Belgium before leaving the role after the tournament. It is unclear whether Henry wants to return to coaching as Nagelsmann’s assistant and the offer relies on the German getting the PSG job.
But it could be seen as a good route back into coaching and offer Henry more experience of working alongside a top coach in one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Having dropped out of the running for both the Spurs and Chelsea posts, Nagelsmann is thought to be interested in the PSG job after being sacked by Bayern Munich in March.

Celta’s Veiga has been on their radar for quite some time now and his 2 goals at the weekend against Barcelona to secure top flight football for his club for next season will no doubt increase the level of interest in him.
Szoboszlai is another fine midfielder and he’s expected to cost a decent fee with the player rumored to be ready for a move to England.
