Jodie Taylor Re-Joins Arsenal

Arsenal FC has announced that Jodie Taylor has joined the team until the end of the season.

The striker returns to Arsenal for her second spell in North London, having scored 10 goals in 17 appearances for us between 2016 and 2017.
Jodie joins the Gunners following the expiration of her contract with San Diego Wave in the National Women’s Super League in the USA, with the return to Arsenal the latest step in a career that has seen her represent clubs across Europe, America, and Australia.
In addition to her club football, where she was a UEFA Women’s Champions League winner with Lyon in 2020, Jodie has also scored 19 goals in 51 appearances for England and was the top scorer at the 2017 UEFA European Women’s Championship.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.

In what was a challenging month for Gunners, Rafaelle showed all manner of skill and determination in her four February displays – earning a clean sheet against Manchester City in the Conti Cup semi-final and scoring a header against City down the other end of the pitch a week later.
