Jasmine Matthews Completes Return To Liverpool

English Women Championship side, Liverpool FC Women have completed the signing of English defender, Jasmine Matthews from Bristol City.

The defender returned to her former Club after spending the 2020/2021 season with Bristol City.

Jasmine, 28, played for the Merseyside Club during the 2018/2019 season. She can play in defence and midfield positions.

Matthews spent much of her Club career with Bristol City from 2011 to 2018 before joining Liverpool FC. She featured in two UEFA Women’s Champions League with Bristol City from 2014 to 2016 when Bristol City reached the quarter-final of the competition during the 2014-2015 season, losing to eventual Champions, Frankfurt.

The defender cum midfielder have represented England at Under-17, Under-19, and Under-23 levels.
