Japan women’s national team have announced their squad for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The former World champions on Tuesday revealed its final 23-player squad for the tournament which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand next month.
Saki Kumagai headlines the list of players heading to the Southern Hemisphere Nations for the World Cup.
Japan in Group C will face Zambia, Costa Rica, and Spain at the tournament.
The team won the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup to the amazement of women’s football fans across the world.
It will hope to replicate the feat this year but the likes of the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT), Germany, and England are tough opponents ahead.

Brazil’s squad for the World Cup is expected to be announced on June 27.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has announced the official date for the selection of the 23 players that will represent Brazil in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
It will take place on June 27 at 4:00 pm Brasília time.
The likes of Marta and Barcelona star, Geyse are expected to make the squad as the South Americans aim to win its first World title.
