Mane came as a promising player but is now leaving as one of the best in the world under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp has been able to transform the fortune of several players in recent times with most of them turning into world stars but another thing worth noting is that a considerable number of them have struggled outside of Liverpool.
Jamie Carragher last month was addressing the Salah contract standoff when he delved into the number of players that have or are struggling after they left the club.
It is actually Salah’s teammate and African brother Sadio Mane who would first Jump ships as he has completed his move to Bayern Munich.
The Liverpool legend urged the players to take sporting reasons into perspective and not move to fill their pockets as they may not find an enabling environment as the one they enjoy under Klopp at Anfield.
“Jurgen Klopp has turned good players into great players, and Mo Salah was one of them,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “He was a very good player, now he’s become a superstar.
“Gini Wijnaldum was one of them. Coutinho was one of them. Emre Can was another one, who wasn’t quite at that level. But these are three players who maybe thought they deserved more off Liverpool in terms of wages.
“They made a move and it’s never been the same for them. I think that’s a lesson for Mo Salah going forward. Not that he’s not a great player, but this suits him. The Premier League suits him, Jurgen Klopp suits him, this club suits him.
“And this is where he’s been a superstar, nowhere else before. He might do it somewhere else, but I think he should remember about two or three of those players who have left Liverpool thinking the grass is greener on the other side, maybe wages-wise.”
Salah was who Carragher had in mind during the interview but is is Mane who should consider properly all options as he makes a bold step to further his career.
Mane arrived from Southampton in 2016 and went on to score 120 goals in 269 games during his six years at the club.

Though, there still some details to be looked into before it can be considered done but Arsenal are sure ready to do everything possible to land the unhappy striker.
