Simone Inzaghi should be one of the happiest managers right now if reports coming from SkySport Italia are to be held onto.

The uncertainty concerning the future of the Nerazzurri wall Milan Skriniar may have been resolved as it is reported the Slovakian international has been removed from possible sales this summer.

Inter had hoped to cash in on their prized asset as a means of reaching the obligatory €60m capital gain.

Chelsea and PSG showed interest in the defender but neither of the two clubs met the valuation of the 19 time Italian champions.

Inter maintained their stance of €70m or no deal which made it difficult for suitors to pole the defender away.

Skriniar is now set to stay at Inter and sign a new contract at the club as per SkySports Italia.

This news comes as a welcome boost for manager Simone Inzaghi who told the club the defender is a core part of his plans and should not be sold.

It is unknown whether the same can be said of Netherlands fullback Denzel Dumfries who is being courted by Manchester United and Chelsea.

Inter play the opening game of their Serie A season on Saturday away to Lecce and Inzaghi barring any late changes should have the core of his team from last season boosted but the return of Romelu Lukaku.

A surprise new team has entered the race for promising Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei.

OGC Nice have joined the race to sign the youngster who is hot on the heels of top European clubs.

The Italian youth international helped the Inter Primavera to the Scudetto last season where he was named the best player and recently made his unofficial debut for the team in a friendly against Lugano.

Nice are offering the player a contract better than that of Chelsea as per Gianluca Di Marzio while Fabrizio Romano went further to say a buy back clause is being mentioned in the French team’s offer.

The 19 year old may likely be wearing the colours of a new club next season as Inter Milan continue to work of player sales to balance the books.
