Yesterday, English Premier League side, West Ham won the Europa Conference League, beating Italian side, Fiorentina to the title in 90 minutes and for England midfielder, Declan Rice, it could mean the end of his time at the club.
But the player refuses to give anything away concerning his future with reports that he’s close to signing with German side, Bayern Munich ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.
After the win over Fiorentina, an emotional Rice admitted he didn’t know if his final act as West Ham captain was lifting the Europa Conference League trophy after the thrilling win in Prague.
Jarrod Bowen’s last-minute winner saw the Hammers end their 43-year wait for a trophy with a dramatic 2-1 victory over the Italians in the Czech republic. The Hammers won a first piece of silverware since the 1980’s FA Cup, and a first European trophy since 1965, on a historic night for the Hammers.

“This means absolutely everything,” said Rice. “The lads have been so on it and we had a real belief. “I’m not only just happy for us and the manager, but also the fans and the staff at the club. I am just as happy for myself as I am for them.
“When Jarrod ran through on goal, I thought ‘this is your time’. It was incredible. Honestly, I’m still in shock now. “The fans have made me one of their own. Now I have really experienced what it is like to be a West Ham player. I am so, so happy.
“I have played my heart out for this club for six years. We’ve not had it easy. We have battled relegation a couple of times, but this means so much.” When asked whether he had played his last game in a West Ham shirt amid strong links with a move to Arsenal.
Rice refused to be drawn on what comes next in his career. “I’m just going to try and take the moment in and let’s just see what happens,” he added. “At the moment, there is a lot of speculation about my future and there is interest out there from other clubs.
“I have two years left on my contract. I love this club, I love playing for this club. My focus is playing for West Ham and seeing what happens. Let’s wait and see, who knows.” He further added.
Amid reports of an agreement with the Bavarians, staying with West Ham shouldn’t be ruled out either but the player has always been vical about his wish to play in the UEFA Champions League, tournament that the EPL side won’t be competing in next season, instead they will be playing in the Europa League after their Conference League win instead.

The Australian was appointed as coach of Spurs recently and he’s expected to run thinga in terms of the transfer market at the club. Signing a top quality goalkeeper has always been the priority at Tottenham, even from the time of Antonio Conte and Raya has been able to distinguish himself with Brentford this season.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are willing to pay only £20 million for Raya, who is valued at £40 million by Brentford. With Manchester United also keen on the Spaniard and monitoring developments, the Bees are hoping that competition for the goalkeeper’s signature will push his transfer fee closer to £40 million. But he’s guaranteed of taking the number one spot at Tottenham, unlike at the Old Trafford where he may have to contend with fellow Spaniard, David De Gea.
