Havre Renard Names 26-Squad List Ahead of Women’s World Cup

French women’s national team coach, Havre Renard has released his provision squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The former Saudi Arabian manager named 26 players ahead of the tournament taking place in Australia and New Zealand.
Four goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders, and six forwards made the squad.
Notable players in the squad include Lyon’s Selma Bacha, Lyon’s Wendie Renard, Chelsea’s Eve Perisset, and Aston Villa’s Kenza Dali.
Other top players in the squad are PSG’s Grace Geyoro, Angel City’s Amandine Henry, Westham’s Asseyi Viviane, PSG’s Kadidatou Diani, Lyon’s Eugenie Le Sommer, and Mateo Clara of Paris FC.
France will face Jamaica, Brazil, and Panama in Group F.

Meanwhile…
Notable absences in the French World Cup squad include Perle Morroni, Sandy Baltimore, Kheira Hamraoui, Charlotte Bilbaut, and Melvine Malard.
