English Women’s Super League (WSL) outfit, Manchester United has announced the signing of England international Gabby George on a permanent deal.

More Details

The defender returns to United, having started her career with the team before departing for fellow WSL side, Everton, where she went on to become their first player to sign professionally in 2017.

George was capped by England at Under-17 to Under-23 level, before making her full international debut in the Lionesses’ 6-0 World Cup qualifying win over Kazakhstan in September 2018.

She became the second player to join United on the final day of the WSL transfer window on Thursday.

The team had earlier unveiled the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup winner with the Spanish women’s national team, Irene Guerrero.

The Reds continue to boost their squad ahead of the 2023/2024 WSL campaign and their debut season in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
