Frankfurt Want Austrian Winger On Loan

Eintracht Frankfurt have opened talks with Inter Milan over a possible move for Austrian winger, Valentino Lazaro.

The 25-year-old arrived at Inter in 2019 but struggled to nail down a regular shirt and made just six league appearances for the club in two years.

Transfer market journalist, Nicolo Schira, reports that the Bundesliga club has made an official loan offer for Lazaro and talks are progressing.

It remains to be seen if the player would like to return to the Bundesliga after previously spells with Hertha Berlin and more recently, Borussia Monchengladbach, as he reportedly prefers to stay with the Italian Champions and fight for a place in the team.

Benfica have shown interest in Lazaro recently but a move to Portugal doesn’t interest him. Inter appear ready to let him leave despite losing Achraf Hakimi to PSG this summer and being short-handed at the right wing back position.

The club is currently focusing on other targets such as Denzel Dumfries, Hector Bellerin and Nahitan Nandez but remain handicapped financially, so they could keep Lazaro if other options fail to yield positive outcomes.
