Now that Fantasy Premier League 22-23 is fully underway, here are our Game Week 3 tips.

More Details

Two game weeks have now passed, giving us a taste of what this season will bring. Manchester United are in serious peril, as we’ve learned. They have now dropped two of their last two games against teams they ought to be defeating based on statistics.

Instead, we now know that Arsenal and Manchester City are both formidable opponents. They easily won both games, and over the first two game weeks, they had some of the greatest players, including Gabriel Jesus, who stole the show with two goals and two assists in GW2.

As well as Jesus, the GW2 master had Man City trio De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and Cancelo who combined for 31 points, Gabriel Martinelli and Kane on eight points, Henderson in goal on 14 points and many more great picks. Martin Odegaard was the only player who didn’t return, with Trent Alexander-Arnold managing one bonus point

Dean Henderson got 14 points after keeping a clean sheet and saving a penalty for Nottingham Forest. Luis Diaz, who scored a goal in Liverpool’s draw with Crystal Palace, the Colombian got 9 points. Despite Chelsea draw with Tottenham Hotspur, Reece James got 7 FPL points as he scored the second goal of Chelsea.

Rodrigo Moreno scored two goals for Leeds United in their 2-2 draw with Southampton, Rodrigo got 15 FPL points. Aston Villa’s striker, Ollie Watkins, who provided two assists in their 2-1 win over Everton scored 11 points.

Ahead of FPL Gameweek 3, Man City’s Erling Haaland (£11.7m), Kevin De Bruyne (£12.1m) and Kyle Walker (£5.1m) have all risen in price, with Haaland increasing for the second consecutive GW. Cristiano Ronaldo (£10.4m), Philippe Coutinho (£6.9m), Diogo Jota (£8.9m) and Michail Antonio (£7.4m) have all dropped in price

Top Picks For The Week……

Bournemouth will welcome Arsenal to the Vitality Stadium and it could present another chance for Gabriel Jesus to increase his goal tally and also give Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli the chance to pile up on their assist stats.

Tottenham Hotspur have started brilliantly this season and they guarantee goals. Wolves on the other hand look simply underwhelming, so the acquisition of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son or Dejan Kulusevski could certainly be a smart move.

We’d avoid picking players from both Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa and Leicester City vs Southampton. They’ll be tight affairs that could starve your side of vital points

Fabinho will no doubt control the game against Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp will head out to dominate possession which means Fabinho will be heavily involved in terms of picking up the ball and dictating play. The Brazilian will likely receive a passing bonus and will be a good shout for bonus points

Marc Cucurella looks like a great fit for Thomas Tuchel’s side and will most likely perform very well in FPL this season. He got an assist against Spurs and with Chelsea’s back line looking competent he could be in contention for a clean sheet against Leeds

The time is now to purchase Ivan Perisic. The upcoming slate of games for Tottenham looks fantastic and holds the promise of numerous shutouts along with possible goals and assists. He has also decreased in value to £5.4 million, which is fantastic because it allows you to use 0.1 million for a player who has risen already.

Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson and Arsenal’s Ramsdale are some of the reliable goalkeepers from week 1 while not forgetting Dean Henderson of Nottingham Forest, who pulled kept a clean sheet and saved a penalty last time out.
