Estelle Johnson: Cameroon Defender Returns To Courage

Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon defender, Estelle Johnson has completed her return to the United States (US) National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) outfit, North Carolina Courage on a two-year deal.
More Details
Johnson returned to Courage from another NWSL side, Gotham FC after three years with her former side.
She was with North Carolina Courage in 2013 before switching to the NWSL side, Washington Spirit.
Estelle who joined Washington Spirit in 2015 left the American side for Gotham FC in 2019.

The 34-year-old defender was with Gotham FC from 2019 to 2022.
At Gotham FC, she played over 50 league games for the team before her switch to Courage to join the club’s backline.

North Carolina Courage has also signed defender, Kaleigh Kurtz to a three-year extension.

The new deal will keep the former Canberra defender with the Courage till 2025.
Kaleigh has been with Courage for the past three seasons after a stint with the Australian side, Canberra.
She has scored three goals in over 40 league games for North Carolina Courage since 2020.
