Fenna Kalma has moved from FC Twente to VfL Wolfsburg for the new season.
The VfL women’s attacking department is getting reinforcements from the Netherlands.
Fenna Kalma is making a free transfer from FC Twente to the ten-time DFB Cup winners in the summer.
The 23-year-old striker has signed a contract with VfL Wolfsburg that runs until June 30, 2026.
Kalma, whose correct first name is Feikje Anna, has been the top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie for the past two seasons.
She was champion twice with FC Twente, in the 2020/2021 season under her future coach Tommy Stroot.
Kalma has made five appearances for the Dutch national team since her debut in September 2022.
Born in Friesland, she joined FC Twente from SC Heerenveen in 2017. After Chantal Hagel, Anneke Borbec, Lisa Schmitz, Vivien Endemann, Riola Xhemaili, and Camilla Küver, she is the seventh newcomer to VfL.
The race for the 2022/2023 German Bundesliga women’s title will be decided on the final Matchday of the season.

Bayern Munich were on a four-point lead at the top of the table ahead of last weekend’s game with Bayer Leverkusen which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Wolfsburg took the opportunity to reduce the margin at the top of the log to two points after defeating Meppen.
A win for Bayern Munich over relegated Postdam Sunday will seal the title irrespective of the result of the other game between Wolfsburg and Freiburg.
Wolfsburg will need a win and hope Bayern Munich loses or draw its game to retain the title.
