Diego Perotti is expected to leave AS Roma to join Turkish Super Lig side, Fenerbahce on a permanent basis.
The 32-year old Argentine winger arrived at the Italian capital in 2016 from Genoa for a reported fee of about 9 million euros and was a key figure for the club as they fought to win a trophy for the first time since 2008.
Perotti has struggled in recent seasons with injuries and with a year left on his current contract, Roma have decided to part ways with the winger.
It is not clear yet what the terms of the deal are but Fabrizio Romano of Sky Italia reports that a deal has been struck between both clubs and the move should be finalized and made official in the coming hours.
Despite the injuries, Perotti managed to make a total of 26 appearances for Roma in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
