Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Manchester United defender, Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Fosu-Mensah, 23, has struggled for regular game time at Manchester United this season making just one Premier League appearance so far.
The Dutch defender had attracted the interest of Eredivisie side, Ajax as well as Olympique Marseille and Hertha Berlin but he preferred a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
The deal is believed to cost the German club around 2.5 million Euros with Fosu-Mensah believed to be set to sign a four-year contract until June 2024.
Fosu-Mensah’s contract with Manchester United was originally expected to expire at the end of the current season.
