DONE DEAL: AC Milan sign Brahim Diaz

Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that AC Milan and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Spain’s under-21 attacking midfielder, Brahim Diaz.

Negotiations seemed wrapped up a few days ago after several weeks of negotiation but it was reported that Real Madrid wanted to include a buy back clause in the deal and that was holding back the agreement.
Now it seems that AC Milan have succumbed to Real Madrid’s demands as the journalist reports that both clubs have an agreement on an initial loan move with an option to buy for the Italians. The Spanish club will maintain a buy back clause in the event that AC Milan activates their option.
Diaz, 21, has struggled for regular game time since making his first team debut with Manchester City in 2016, a move to Real Madrid last summer did not help matters either but he will be hoping for a change in fortune with a transfer to Milan.
