“Following the injuries to Lorenz Assignon and Hamari Traoré, we had to react very quickly. It’s an interesting player profile. He is a committed, fast player who is able to defend well and also attack well. He moved up to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest last season. He played little with Tottenham but he’s still a player with great potential. In a few hours, you had to be reactive to find the right option and I hope he will quickly blend into the group in order to show us his qualities”  Maurice, Technical Director of Stade Rennais FC: said.

I have no opinion about the French league so I never know, but I guess it may be different, I am going to find out for myself.

Obviously, it is a big club and an opportunity to play in the Ligue 1 and I think it is just a big opportunity for myself to test myself and to see what I can do in this league.

I’m looking forward to every competition, every competition is important and just got to be ready and play well and take my chance.”

The right-back who has made six appearances for Spurs to date will link up with his Spurs team mate Joe Rodon who is already at the French club.
