Written by Olaleye Oluwadamilola

More Details

Paris Saint-Germain has informed its partners and all guests about the cancellation of the Foundation and Endowment Fund Gala dinner scheduled for Tuesday, May 30.

This painful but unavoidable decision was made by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain and the Foundation, due to the concerning health condition of goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Segio Rico fell off a racing home in his home City of Seville thereby suffering serious head accidents which has kept him in the emergency unit just a day after French manager Christophe Galtier gave his players a day off after the club’s record breaking Ligue 1 title feat.

Reports emerged in Spain revealed that a runaway horse collided with the animal he was riding with the keeper suffering head injuries and was taken to hospital by helicopter for tests according to Spanish news outlet Relevo. The reports further states that Rico was rushed to the Virgen del Rocio hospital by helicopter, where he has been intubated following the blow sustained to his head as doctors carry out further tests.
