Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Silence On Erik Ten Hag’s Appointment

The veteran forward has finally spoken on the imminent arrival of the Dutch coach at Old Trafford.

Manchester United since last month have announced the appointment of Ajax Amsterdam coach Erik Ten Hag as the new manager to start the rebuilding process at the club.


Several United stars have commented on the appointment with some applauding the decision while otters are seemingly living in fear of falling casualty of the massive clear out that looms.

Portuguese icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has however opened up on his opinion of the former Bayern Munich employee as he discussed his appointment.

Ronaldo acknowledged his achievements with Ajax but reckons the coach will need time to achieve success at Old Trafford.

“I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time,” Ronaldo told

“Things must change the way he wants. If you do well, all of Manchester United will succeed, so I wish you all the best. We are all happy and excited [with the arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well. We have to believe that next year we can win titles.”

The Mirror understands that Ronaldo is certainly in the plans of the new coach and with just a year left on his contract at the club, he could be considering his future come the end of the season.


The agent of Paulo Dybala is said to be in London according to reports coming from the Mirror.

The Argentine is set to leave Juventus at the end of the season when his contract expires with several clubs showing interest in his services.

His agent has held talks with Inter Milan in Italy should he decide to remain in the country while a fresh report has it that a move to England could also be a possibility.

Jorge Antun, Dybala’s representative will meet with several clubs as to find the best option for his client and the agent will meet with Frank Trimboli who has been saddled to monitor the interest of English clubs in London to discuss a possible deal.

Sky Sports reports that Antun will propose an offer to the English sides hoping that a suitable deal can be struck for Dybala who is open to a new challenge.
